The Grande Wisteria Mural - Introduction

Every now and then an artist is lucky enough to have the opportunity to work on an epic art piece. Follow my journey from the first meeting to final brushstroke
In 2022 I was given one of these opportunities........ It wasn't just about being in the right place at the right time ( although this is true)
It was about a particular piece that I knew was the right one for me. Even though it was going to be over a huge scale and physically demanding and I was to do the whole project on my own, I knew that I was up for the challenge and I was buzzing to actually start the job and even though I did have butterflies in my stomach .... they were happy butterflies.
I hope you stay with me on my journey as I may have to break it down into shorter blog posts........ how many hours are there in a day......
The first pics on this post are professional shots taken by David Burrows Photography apart from the one of me on the second floor looking down. This was taken just after the scaffolding came down. So these are the After shots.
