Diane creates one off art pieces on beautiful fabrics or as show stopping canvas paintings or murals.
Before this she experienced many years as a "backroom girl" in various studios and textile mills in the UK and overseas designing fabric and wallpaper collections for varied markets around the world. Then she sidestepped manufacturing and entered the world of interiors working as interior designer specialising in colour schemes and soft furnishing in particular. Fast forward to the present, Diane has returned to hand painting and has totally immersed herself in the world of art, decorating and exploration of pattern.
English Decoratives was created to celebrate an English eclectic style, which is the core of Dianes style and influences. A love of flowers, nature, history, global and all decorative arts. Mixing all of these together, English Decoratives intends to be a pattern mix for pattern lovers while embracing craft and her hand painted skills.

So pleased with our silk cushions!!! I can’t believe that Diane can create such works of art on a real silk cushion. They really are all totally beautiful. It was a bit of an investment but totally worth it. They really make our living room. Thank you! ( saving up now for more!)
