Take window dressing to a whole new art form with these unique hand painted silk drapes

Chrysanthemum was originally created and inspired from an archive document from the 19th Century. A painting in gouache in the traditional french style for furnishings. Diane interpreted this style and painted the two drapes with different compositions and then later explored mixing a Japanese style of painting the flowers on one of the panels.        "Two different set of mindsets were in play, here" she says..... " one of discipline with technique and colour mix and the other going freestyle and instinctive."

Can be used as drapes for a window treatment, wallhanging or just artfully draped over a chair. Embrace the Asymmetry by mixing plain curtains embellished with these painted panels. Intended as a decorative piece to instantly create a warm and stunning statement piece. A new and different way to display art.

There are two panels approx 1m w x 2.25 drop. They have a plain colour stitched on to the reverse but have been left with no heading so the pair can be customised for you.
